Established in 1982, CompTIA is a non-profit association that designs and administers a variety of information technology related professional certification programs. These exams are recognized industry wide, and unlike many other exams are designed to be vendor neutral. While their most popular certification, A+, is designed to verify basic competency as a computer technician, they also offer respected certificates in networking, computer security, Server Administration, Technical Training, Document Imaging, Operating Systems, Project Management, and data storage.
Until 2011, some of their most popular certifications were valid for life. But the status of these courses has been changed and require retesting every three years. This move ensures that all certificate holders have current knowledge relevant to the rapidly changing information technology industry.
Whether you’re new to the industry and looking to break into an entry-level position, or a seasoned professional trying to expand your knowledge, earning a CompTIA certification demonstrates to employers that you have the skills they need.
Our online practice test is designed to replicate the style, content, and formatting of the different types of exams offered by CompTIA. These exams are just a few entries in our professional certifications list.
